January 12-14 Weekend Round-Up

Jan. 13 at 10am: Succulent Make-and-Take Class at the Fayetteville Botanical Gardens
Bring one shallow pot (4-6″ diameter) and two smaller pots and the Botanical Gardens will provide the potting mix and succulents! $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Registration is required: https://form.jotform.com/73515600062143

Jan 13 at 10am: Explore the World of Spices at the Amazeum in Bentonville
Learn all about spices-where they come from, how they’re used and their different flavors. Try your hand at making a healthy snack by mixing spices and go home with new spice recipes! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome!

Jan. 13 at 5-7pm: Winter Ice Skating at The Cresent in Eureka Springs
Kids skate free and adults are $5. Limited number of skates for rent.

Jan 13 at 5pm: Arkansas vs Missouri at Bud Walton
Come support the Razorbacks as they play Missouri Saturday night! 

Jan. 13 at 6:30pm: Kid’s Movie Night at Cave Springs Coffee Co. showing the movie “Sing”
Come enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn while watching “Sing”! Wine and beer will be available to those of age.

Jan. 13 at 8pm: Stand-Up/Stay-Up Comedy Show featuring Jonny Bratsveen at Black Apple Crossing in Springdale
Jonny will be appearing on Kevin Hart’s “Hart of the City” on Comedy Central this season, but you have the chance to see him in person at Black Apple Crossing! Admission is free.

Jan 13-14 from 10am-5pm: NWA Women’s Living Expo at the Jones Center in Springdale
Over 130 diverse exhibits including fashion shows, makeovers, health screenings, food, book signings and lots of free goodies. General Admission is $7

Jan 14 at 2pm: Local Author Series: Zan Jarvis at the Fayetteville Public Library
Local author will present her novel “River and the Lost”. Books will be available for sale and a signing will follow.

Jan 14 at 2pm: Immune Support Class at the Fayetteville Botanical Gardens
It’s cold and flu season, the immune system requires optimal nutrition to work its best. Angeline Karigan-Winter, nutritional health coach at Natural Grocers will lead this one-hour class. $10 for Botanical Garden members and $15 for non-members.

Jan 14 at 3pm: Champagne Open House at The Ravington in Centerton
Planning an event or wedding in 2018? Champagne and cake tasting along with a free mini makeup session, an engagement photo by a top NWA photographer and the chance to win a $100 Target giftcard.

Jan 14 at 3pm: Essential Oil Basics and Then Some at Mount Sequoyah Center in Fayetteville
A day retreat consisting of yoga, meditation and an overview of essential oils.

Jan 14 at 3pm: Vintage Bicycle Show & Swap at Bike Rack Brewing Co. in Bentonville
Got a bike over 25 years old? Come bring it by and enter it for a chance to win! Winners announced at 5:30pm
